Hello reader. My name is, let's sayy, Aknuir. It's not my real name but
there is a reason why I prefer not to use my real name in the WWW. I leave
in a relatively dangerous corner of the world and there is no way to change
the situation in the coming years. It was a paradise city back then, before
everything fell right into hell. So I prefer an alias to keep me in a more
confident state about what I am sharing with you on my site. And on this
page I will share with you... a piece of my personal information!! YAY! So,
here we go. Hard times taught me many many wisdoms. Trying to find a ray of
light in my complete isolation I've got a lot of hobbies utterly rare to my
living region. So here, on this website, I want to share them with you while
building my virtual mansion of freedom, something I've had too little of in
real life due to external events.
I'm obsessed with plants. Not all plants. I'm picky. The ones I treasure
are the ones that whisper healing secrets. There is no pill that can fix
you better than herbs in long term. Preparing herbs is a true witchcraft -
it's structured, strange and powerful. There is real magic there, and real
science. I'm still learning, not a master yet, but I can teach you some
skills and learn more with you. We can start with tea - just one plant,
Camellia sinensis. It would be relatively easy to learn how to use tea to
your benefit. Check out my Teahouse place [temporary down] or wait until my
Mender's Hut [soon] page is constructed.
I love Hakka martial arts. Not just in casual
I-watch-kung-fu-movies-once-a-month way.
I mean, deep in my BONES [B]. For me it is not just about fighting.
It's form of expression. It's a spirit. Elders encoded their grit, their
rhythms, their unique way to control energy into those movements. When I
practice it, I feel alive. It keeps me sane. It keeps me dreaming. It
teaches to be confident with yourself, move freely in easy and effective
way. It is good for heart. I don't have a sifu nearby, just some books
and grainy videos, but I move, I learn, I fall, I try again. Maybe one
day I will have students. But currently it is nearly impossible, so I
plan to create a new branch of this website where I will cover nuances
of Hakka martial arts.
Love web mastering. HTML, CSS and Javascript are my best friends for
longest time. I probably would not be alive if hadn't choosen to work in
IT. But I never actually tried to use my web skills in indie web way,
until 2025. Old internet faded away so slowly I never questioned where
the old gold web gone. And now here we are. New internet refugee found
his place on Neocities. Found it and love it. Nothing is perfect here.
That means it's real.
Currently trying to do pixel art. I never thought I'd go there, but now
I can't look away. It's simple, it's small, but damn does it speak.
Absolutely love pixels.
Not everything I do is obscure or ancient. I'm also just a nerd. A joyful
one. I watch anime. And I'm willing to create entire page about watched
shows and movies. Playing old video games (hello to Age of Empires II
and Warcraft III fans).
I will tell you more soon, everything is alive on this website, even this
